Before my husband and I got married, we made a deal that if we managed to have children, one of us would stay home and raise them. It's just what we felt comfortable with.
Well, a couple weeks after our wedding, I was pregnant! It was the most exciting and terrifying moment of my life at that point (labor and delivery topped it by far). It was exciting because we were finally going to have a baby, and start a family, but how were we going to afford a family?
Switching from a two income household with no kids to a one income household with a baby has been quite a learning experience for me. Every day I'm finding new ways to balance our budget and make it work. (Necessity really is the mother of invention)
I hope to take this blog and share all my money saving schemes, couponing trips, free events, and absolute joy of motherhood, with everyone reading this blog.
And PLEASE I'm always looking for tips and tricks, so share away in the comments.
:)
