Saving Money on Books and Whatnot
How wonderful of a resource is our public library?
They have SO many books, and if they don't have they'll get it from another library.
I generally make a trip there, and so far it's the one place he hasn't started screaming in when we go. He loves staring at all the rows of books. Maybe he inherited my excitement about reading. I get excited just thinking about what might be in a book I'm holding. The smell! It's the best.
And the best thing about the library? It's FREE. Of course donations are encouraged, since it's not free to run. But just these last two weeks I've saved SO much. I made a running list of everything I checked out, and added up their retail value.

I think I saw that SpongeBob movie in theaters! It was okay I suppose, the kids loved it! Also I have a friend who is a die hard Groupon-er and she saves tons of money and gets to have fun! Sometimes the more you buy the cheaper it is per person so if you have friends that can contribute you can all have an amazing time all while being frugal! :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, I can't wait to defend watching kids movies by blaming Jack. We're still only #7 on the list.
