Key Food's Secret Coupon Policy

I'll never understand why Key Food doesn't advertise their coupon policy, or make it easier to get a hold of. It's a big secret apparently. The store is overpriced, but it's on the way to becoming a nice place to shop. When you can combine the coupons with what's on sale, you can even score some really good deals there. The policy is really couponer friendly, so hopefully more fellow couponers will take advantage.

This is the policy they've had for years, and I confirmed this morning that it hasn't changed with the new owner.

The policy is simple:
They double coupons with a face value up to a dollar. (but not ones you print yourself)
They accept five of the same coupon at a time. (no limit on how many different ones you use)
They allow multiple transactions.
They will not give overage, so free is the lowest they'll go*
And only one coupon per item.
They say you need a club card to get the sale prices, but I've never gotten one, and the cashier always has one to scan.

Also, the sales run Friday to Thursday, so this weeks deals are good July 10-July 16.

The best deal I found there is on Chock Full O' Nuts coffee.
Normally, they sell them for $4.99 each, but this week they're on sale 2/$5.(must buy 2, limit 6)
There was a coupon in June 7, SmartSource Sunday insert for $1 off, which will double to $2 off.
That makes each can of coffee $.50! OR about $.02 per serving!!

If you typically buy a cup of coffee at a convenience store, or fast food place, you could save 98% by stocking up on this deal.
If you're a Starbucks or fancy coffee drinker, it's like 99.9% savings.

The same Sunday insert(6-7,SS) had $1/2 Fiber One Bars. They're now on sale for $2.99, making them $1.99 each when you buy two.

If you like Butterball turkey bacon (which I don't), it's on sale 2/$3. You can go here, http://www.butterball.com/coupons , and print a coupon for $.55 off, making them $.95 each.
This one will not double.
I have nothing against turkey bacon, and I used to like it, but they ran a sale making this free in my first trimester with Jack. I stocked up, and was eating it constantly, and then throwing up. That may be TMI, but I still gag when I think about the stuff.

I was a little disappointed that nothing was free this week, but maybe next week will have some awesome deals. If you find a deal, please share it in the comments!

Last thing, as of this morning, Milford Key Foods hadn't changed the prices on their shelves to reflect the sale, but the prices will still ring up correctly. There's a lot going on inside there lately, and they were working on ripping out the nasty freezers when I was there.

*If you have a coupon for $1/2, and the item is a $1.50, it will only double to $1.50, and you'll pay full price for the second item.
